Bethesda House Board Positions
We are looking for a few talented and conscientious volunteer board members to help strengthen our housing, emergency, crisis, case management, social work, and residential programs. If you can contribute your time, thoughtfulness, and leadership one evening each of the 7 months the board meets, and are interested in exploring this opportunity, please contact us by clicking on the email address below or call (518) 374-7873, ext. 116 and speak with our Administration Assistant.
Find out whether this volunteer opportunity is right for you! We are especially looking for Board volunteers with accounting experience, working in mental health field, fundraising & development knowledge and experience.
The full Board meets 7 times a year: September, October, January, March, April, May, June.
Meetings are the 4th Tuesday each of the aforementioned months; meetings begin promptly at 5.30 pm.
As a Board member, you can serve on the following committees:
- Finance: meets every month, September – June
- Development: meets 4 times a year with active email communications
- Nominating: meets 4 times a year with active email communications
